Flow
Ranging from Morning Flow (more powerful) to slow flow, many of our classes fall within the style of Flow.
The consistent theme is that breath is married with movement, the vinyasa (transitions) are as much of a focus as the asanas (poses) and every class will cater for all levels of experience, meeting each yogi’s need everyday, even if you need to rest.
Flow is often described as a moving meditation and the benefits include a rejuvenation of the body, quietening of the mind, higher energy levels and a greater sense of clarity.
Yin
A gorgeous slow class which is mainly floor based, generally postures are held for longer periods of time in yin yoga, allowing the body to release and let go.
Elongating the muscles and connective tissues of the body, yin yoga improves circulation to the joints and in general around the body, balancing energy levels and calming the nervous system.
Aerial
Coming soon to our Studio!
Using a low hanging silk aerial sling to assist in alignment, with your body weight partially or entirely supported, aerial yoga is a fun and creative way to explore yoga asana.
This class has a maximum number of people per class to ensure a spacious, playful and safe environment.
Nidra
Yoga Nidra, also known as yoga sleep, is technique that induces deep physical, mental and emotional relaxation.
Using body scanning, breath work, sensation awareness and often additional techniques, you will restore and heal your body on all levels, in the space between the conscious and unconscious.
Meditation
There are a vast number of meditation techniques, far too many to squeeze into a little paragraph here. All meditation techniques share an array of benefits, many of which are proven by science and include a reduction in stress and anxiety, increased attention and self awareness, better management of emotions, improved sleep and generally creating kinder behaviour towards self and others. Whats a wonderful gift to give to yourself and your loved ones.
